Alexander “Alex” Socarrás is Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of
Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics in Europe, Middle East and Africa
(EMEA). He has been a member of MedTech Europe’s Board since December
2021 and is a key member of Siemens Healthineers’ Global Leadership
team.
Alex has over 30 years of experience within the healthcare
industry, specializing in in vitro diagnostics (IVD) and life
sciences, with a diverse background leading teams in multiple global
geographies including North America, Latin America, EMEA, China,
Asia-Pacific, and Japan.
