ENDEL Gottfried

Gottfried Endel is leading the HTA unit of the Main Association of the Austrian social insurance companies. Being a medical doctor he is specialized in health service and health system research, outcome research and quality monitoring. He organizes the participation of the HTA unit in EUNETHTA (now JA3) as international collaboration and DEXHELPP as national research consortium. He is involved in the ongoing health system reform in Austria, is lecturing HTA for the technical university of Vienna and evidence based medicine for the academy of the social insurance in Austria.
For ESIP he participates in a working group on medical devices.
